A small collection of the work we have undertaken.
It all started nine years ago in a small suburbian garage. No electricity, no lighting and tools that would be more suited to a Christmas cracker than a workshop. A young lad broke down once again on his trusty RS125. With nothing more than a few pennies to his name he had two options... Try to fix the bike himself or save up and get someone to help. Days turned to weeks whilst he fettled, researched, fettled again, made the problem worse, researched, fettled further and then finally fixed the little 2 stroke. That was it, he was hooked...
Before long he became renowned amongst friends and family as the lad who can fix bikes. Friends would bring their bikes to his garage where they would spend hours until dark fixing, servicing and upgrading parts in exchange for good company, coffee and bacon sandwiches.
One fateful day whilst riding his trillion horsepower (cough) ZXR750H2 he came across someone sitting at the edge of a roundabout, motorcycle now shaped like a banana and looking very sorry for itself. Pulling over to check he was ok he offered help to fix said bike. The bike was swiftly recovered back to the cave and he got to work fixing. A few days later stood a proud man, showing off his work to the owner of the revived bike. Delighted, the owner forced money into his hand and told him that he HAD to start up his own workshop... DoMotorbikes was born.
Fast forward to the present day and the tools are works of art, the workshop not only has electricity and lighting but a plethora of machine tools and specialist equipment. One thing hasn't changed however, and that is the personalised service that gets given to every one of our customers. DoMotorbikes is proud to have the hightest and most plentyful reviews on google and is raved about throughout various forums and facebook. We do this by having a unique appointment only system that means every customer gets one to one time to ask any questions and see their bike being worked on. Customers are invited to come and be taught how to service their own bike and can shadow their bike being serviced on request. We are proud of our second to none knowledge and are happy to share this with everyone. Long gone are the days of saying goodbye to your bike and hoping it gets treated with respect whilst the spanner monkey goes to town.
We don't have customers here at DoMotorbikes, we have friends. So please pop by and say hello, Coffee is on us.
